New World China Land Limited ("NWC" or "the Company") announced today that it has signed a strategic agreement with Tencent Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd ("Tencent") to form a long-term partnership. In the future, NWC and Tencent will strive to integrate "Internet+" into the property industry through technology and innovation as well as blending and complementing both firms’ strengths and resources. Director and Chief Executive Officer of NWC Mr. So Chung-Keung, Alfred and Director and Deputy Chief Executive Officer Mr. Chan Lai-Man, Raymond attended “China's Smart Real Estate Industry Summit – Smart Future” which organised by Tencent and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Tencent Regional Business Cluster General Manager Ms. Yi Hai-Yan. Recognising the Company's contributions in promoting digitalisation within the property industry, NWC has been awarded City Model Brand Real Estate Enterprise while Mr. So Chung-Keung, Alfred won the Individual Award for Driving Digitalisation in China's Property Industry. With the signing of this strategic cooperation agreement, NWC and Tencent will proactively explore a host of areas including smart communities, smart operations, smart property management, smart businesses, Internet of Things, cloud computing, big data and artificial intelligence in order to apply their various innovations. This partnership signifies the two companies' joint determination to drive greater in-depth integration of property and the Internet, launching the advent of the smart property era.
